Home Appliances Extended Warranty Terms and Conditions (T&C)

1. Warranty Extension:

   • This warranty will apply to your home appliances (such as washing machines, refrigerators, microwave ovens, etc.) and will begin after the manufacturer’s warranty has expired.

2. Warranty Period:

   • The extended warranty is typically valid for a period of 6month year and 3 years, depending on the plan you select.

   • Only those appliances will be covered that are included in the extended warranty plan. Please ensure the appliance model and serial number are checked for eligibility.

4. Eligibility for Warranty:

   • This warranty applies only to appliances used for domestic purposes, i.e., personal or household needs.

5. Services Covered under the Warranty:

   • The extended warranty typically covers repairs, part replacements, or other necessary services. For any service, you can contact the service provider's customer care center.

6. Covered Incidents:

   • Mechanical or electrical faults, defects due to manufacturing errors, or issues caused by normal usage.

7. Exclusions (Not Covered):

   • External damage (such as burns, accidents, etc.), damage caused by improper use, or failure to perform recommended maintenance.

   • Issues caused by normal wear and tear or aging of the appliance.

   • Damage to accessories or parts not related to the appliance (e.g., light bulbs, fan blades, batteries).

8. Procedure for Service:

   • To avail of the service, you will need to provide the appliance’s purchase receipt and warranty certificate.

   • If the service is provided by a third-party technician, you may need to bear the cost of service if it is not covered under warranty.

9. Expiry of Warranty:

   • Once the warranty period ends, no further services or repairs will be covered under the extended warranty.

10. Special Conditions:

    • This warranty does not affect any legal rights that the consumer may have under the applicable consumer protection laws of the country.

    • Warranty terms may be subject to change without prior notice.

11. Disputes and Claims:

    • If you believe that a service was not performed correctly, you should file a written complaint with the service provider.

       • The warranty is valid only for specific home appliances (such as refrigerators, washing machines, air conditioners, etc.) and must be registered with the warranty provider at the time of purchase.

    3. Inclusions under Warranty:

       • The extended warranty covers repairs, replacement of defective parts, and service costs for the covered product. This includes both mechanical and electrical failure that arises from manufacturing defects or faulty components.

       • The warranty may also cover labor costs associated with repair or replacement.

    4. Conditions for Warranty:

       • The product must be used according to the manufacturer’s guidelines and under normal conditions of use. Any damage caused by misuse or neglect (such as exposure to extreme temperatures, water damage, etc.) will not be covered.

    5. Service Procedure:

        • If you are dissatisfied with the service provided under the extended warranty, you should escalate the matter to the company’s grievance redressal team. If the issue is still unresolved, you may seek legal remedies under consumer protection laws.

    13. Miscellaneous:

        • The warranty provider reserves the right to modify or amend these terms and conditions at any time, with prior notice to the customer.

        • The customer will be informed about any such changes via email or postal communication.
